Senior High Retreat

January 1-3, 2010

Come join us for an adventure at Pyoca. We'll be talking about What it means to be a Christian today. Great discussions, time for fun, and of course, the Pyoca experience! Come and bring your favorite game... be prepared to try out new games, and have a quick Pyoca fix as we begin the new year!

Do you have projects that you have been putting off? Would you like to be able to complete a craft in time for Christmas? Or do you just need to get away for a weekend? This is the retreat for you! Our annual Un Finished Objects retreat is a great time to come and relax, catch up with old friends, make new friends, and work on those projects you have been neglecting all year long! The cost for this retreat is $120 for two nights, 4 meals, snacks, ample workspace, and lots of fun. Additional night (Thursday) is $30.00.

Scrapbooking Retreat

February 19-20, 2010

The pictures are piling up and you're ready to get out of the house and into God's creation. Whether you are an experienced scrapbooker or if this is your first time, this weekend is rich with fellowship, sharing, good food, fun and "how to" information.

Bring your equipment, supplies and pictures to create a new scrapbook or finish an old one. Please bring past ones to share as well.

We have great opportunities for fellowship, relaxation, and a chance to help Pyoca prepare
for summer and beyond! Each third Thursday, we invite folks who are able to assist in work projects
around camp. Projects may involve painting, cleaning, woodworking, or oranizating things! We'll
provide the lunch! Please let us know you are coming so we can be prepared!"

Jr. High Retreat

 

Bring your costumes and get ready to have some fun as we explore the monsters in our life. This year's retreat will feature a Halloween costume contest on Friday along with all other sorts of great camp activities. The theme is "The Monster Mash" and we will be talking about the "monsters" that consume our lives and how Christ helps us defeat and defend ourselves from them. Registration is Friday at 7pm and the cost is $75 so invite a friend or two and we hope to see you there!!

Confirmation Retreat

March 12-14, 2010

Come join us and others as we explore the building blocks of the Presbyterian Faith. Session themse include, "What is confirmation", "What would Jesus have me do', Who am I and what am I doing here?", "How do you spell Presbyterian", "Connecting with God", and "Putting it all Together". Mystery Quilt Weekend

March 26-28, 2009

Register now for this quilting retreat where each person makes her or his own quilt. As always the pattern is a mystery until you get everything pieced together. A confirmation letter will be sent out after March 1st. It will include a list of types and quantities of material needed.

This retreat is great for all skill levels, last year one person made their very first quilt and had a wonderful time doing it. We will also have a “Show and Tell” session during which you can show off pieces that you have made and get great ideas from your fellow quilters. An addititional night begins on March 25 for additional time to work on your project!
